Inspired by Fred Harvey era designs, these cigar bands/rings are unisex and perfect for everyday wear.
The history of the American West is filled with myth and legend and Fred Harvey falls into both categories. Through the impact of his 'Harvey House' restaurants, he was able to open the West up to tourism.
The designs and motifs of his buildings would become associated with Native American art for many years to come.
Along with this, they often became market places for handcrafted goods and jewellery created by surrounding Native American Tribes. Such was his influence his name has become attached to this style of jewellery, but not until after his death.
What we now know as 'Fred Harvey' Jewellery was largely created from 1900 to 1955, until the closing of the restaurants caused a decline in production.
Handcrafted in Albuquerque, USA by Mike from Red Rabbit, these are a great addition to any collector or jewellery lover. This particular style ring features a centre turquoise stone and the Classic Crossed Arrow's, depicting friendship.
