Fine Creek Leather Norfolk Suede Suka Jacket BurgundyClutch Cafe
Inspired by the iconic souvenir jackets of the 1950s & '60s, Fine Creek has truly made an iconic piece their own. The jacket utilises a 1mm thick horse suede leather that has been vegetable tanned and dyed through to the core of the fabric.
Immediately striking, the imagery on the jacket has been embroidered by hand and showcases the "Kiryu yokoburi " embroidery technique ( a traditional craft in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture). This is carried out by highly skilled craftspeople who are incredibly well versed in the ancient embroidery technique. The front is filled with golden hawk embroidery on either side, the sleeves feature golden rising dragons and the back has a hawk perched. All in all an incredible piece of art.
The jacket features a rayon lining, universal company zipper with the cuffs complete with a snap button closure.
