Coherence take their inspiration from well-known and legendary artists while their take on classic outerwear is elevated by their focus on in-house fabric design, carefully considered detailing and a central focus on fit.

The Vernon III is inspired by French novelist Boris Vian, famous for his publication of criminal fiction novels, who was pictured in Saint-Tropez in 1953 wearing a P-43 US Army jacket.

The Vernon III is cut in Japan from the brand's signature Hemp Jaspe, a twill fabric with hemp marl yarn (two coloured yarn twist). Hemp itself is a naturally hollow fiber which is light in weight, soft to the touch and has excellent breathability purposes. This luxurious in house Hemp Jespe provides a garment of extreme comfort and style in equal measures.

Fusing together the famous design of the P-43 US Army jacket and details from a French Army blouson of the same era, Coherence have produced a garment with vintage military inspired detailing. Two chest gusset pockets with button flap closure, a five button front using horn buttons and a relaxed fit and silhouette completes the look.

All Coherence garments are Made in Japan to the highest level of standards hard to find on ready-to-wear garments.
