Warehouse & Co Lot. 2010 Cowboy Denim Jacket (WWII Model) IndigoWarehouse & Co
Warehouse & Co have been producing authentic, high quality garments since 1995. Warehouse continue with their standard aesthetic and development of iconic, classic pieces that have served them so well for 25 years.
The Lot. 2010 Cowboy Denim Jacket from Warehouse & Co is the brand at their very best. The Lot. 2010 is a true reproduction item and has been modelled on the iconic denim brand Lee and perfectly displays their history and cost saving approach applied by the company during WWII.
Lee were famous for typically using left hand twill denim but Warehouse have faithfully recreated a 13.5 oz right hand twill denim for the Lot. 2010. A bight blue indigo is created with this weave as the weft yarn has been topped with grey.
Being a WWII manufactured model some of the specifications were changed to save on cost. Donut buttons with laurel wreath pattern throughout were used so Warehouse have recreated these as well as minimising thread count by adopting double stitch technique as opposed to triple. For maximum work efficiency and to simplify sewing the shape of the pocket flap was changed to round.
These Cowboy jackets from Lee were usually made with the iconic cinch back to adjust fit for the wearer but again with cost these were not deemed necessary. Interestingly though, for an added detail and something quite unique they included the rivet for attaching the cinch back.
The Lot. 2010 comes with a reproduction herringbone 'Victory' Bag. These were mass produced in the USA during WWII and were often given to Military Academy students and their families to increase moral for the war effort.
This jacket has a wide chest fitting but is cut typically short like most Lee jackets were. We expect some shrinkage on this one so please do get in touch for advice on fitting and shrinkage.
This jacket is Unsanforised and therefore will shrink when washed, please see the size chart for post wash measurements (30°C machine wash). Please send us an email at email@example.com for further inquires).
