German brand Heimat is a producer of fine wool garments, taking traditional silhouettes & garments and making them applicable to modern day living.
The Deck Hat is Heimat's classic skull cap shape, with a 5cm double-rolled brim so it can be worn short or long. Originally favoured by sailors and fishermen, this style later became popular with mountaineers, who would wear them to protect their heads not only from the cold, but from loose stones dropping on them from above.
