Kluane Mountaineering, based in Edmonton, Alberta, have been producing down filled jackets, vests and sleeping bags since 1971.
A highly regarded brand, though little known as a manufacturer of down garments, Kluane (pronounced 'Clu-Aw-Nee') have a dedicated following built on the pure quality of their products.
These vests are made from a 1oz rip-stop nylon used for parachute material, meaning they are lightweight yet durable allowing for more down to be packed into the vests pocketed construction.
The down itself is all sourced from the highest grade Canadian feather with these vests using a 750 fill power duck down to keep you warm.
The vests are fitted with heard-wearing two-way YKK zipper and have two hand warmer pockets to keep your hands toasty when needed.
