Orgueil Waxed Workers Jacket Khaki
Orgueil

An offshoot of "Osaka Five" member, Studio D'artisan, Orgueil offer collections inspired by early 20th century workwear designs.
Here we have the Waxed Workers Jacket, a new style from Orgueil for this Autumn & Winter season. Heavily inspired by the classic British Horse Riding Jacket from heritage company, Barbour, first introduced in 1980. Barbour produced their first short, lightweight jacket, the Bedale - originally designed for riding - that has transcended the field and is now an iconic piece of outerwear.
Cut in Japan from a high density duck canvas, the Waxed Workers from Jacket from Orgueil has a number of unique touches. The duck canvas outer shell has gone through a paraffin processing technique, basically waxing, to provide water repellency and increase wind resistance.
A zip front using a brass Waldes zip has been paired with two hand warmer pockets and two hip bellow pockets, cut in Orgueil's classic round shape. A snap button front and sloping raglan sleeves have been paired with a chin strap and neat corduroy collar while the jacket is lined in a custom black watch, with a single interior pocket.
