Here we have the 21S-Competition Jacket from one of our store favourites, Pherrow's. A standout piece from their SS21 offerings, we're pleased to be stocking this in a limited run!
Inspired by vintage 1960's Golf Jackets from brands such as Braggin' Dragon & McGregor, this jacket from Pherrow's also borrows ideas from the well-known 'Harrington' Jacket.
The Harrington jacket, known then as the ‘golfer’, hit the mainstream when James Dean famously sported a bright red McGregor Drizzler in the iconic 1956 film, “Rebel Without a Cause”.
Cut from a blend of polyester and cotton (the same make up as the 60's), the 21S-Competition Jacket features a zip front ( YKK zipper) and two slash pockets. This piece stands out with the intricate sewing of sportswear iconography - a nod to the Olympic Games - and features Javelin, Weight Lifters, Cyclists and Basketball players to name but a few. An elasticated back waist line completes the look on this fun piece for Spring/Summer.
