Schott Perfecto x Lightning Limited Edition Leather Jacket Black

Schott made in the USA ‘One Star’ reproduction jacket

To mark the 25th anniversary of Lighting Magazine, and the 300th volume, the publication has teamed up with US leather brand Schott and plans to release a special model of the classic 613UST jacket

This limited item is modelled from an original archive garment dating from the 1970s and features both period-accurate details as well as various modifications based on original the archive piece 

The jacket features  ‘stars and stripes’ neck label, but  most notably is the lucky ace of spades artwork to the back, which has been precisely replicated by hand The paint is designed to crack and yellow with wear, eventually matching the original 

The ‘one star’ model also features unusual gold zippers The original zippers to this jacket would have been silver, meaning the original owner replaced them somewhere in the history of the jacket This is unique to the Lighting model A exclusive gold Lightning Magazine pin is also supplied 

Ageing samples show roughly one day of wear per week for three months Sizing and measurements are based on the Schott 613UST model jacket 

This special collaboration model is only available to order online from the 20th of March 2019, with expected shipment at the end of September 2019 This date is subject to change dependent on manufacturing lead times

ヴィンテージのカスタムモデルを再現したMADE IN THE USA ワンスターが誕生！

ヴィンテージのサンプルを手に入れ、当時のオーナーが行ったセルフカスタムを模してやっと完成した手書きペイント入りのカスタムライダース。幸運のビッグスペードに込めた思いは「永遠なり」。

1着のヴィンテージカスタム・ワンスターと出会った頃からスタートした企画。Schott製品ではあまり存在しないペイントカスタムも再現したワンスター。

背中のハンドペイントは、最初のうちは真っ白だが、少し着込むうちに、雰囲気良く変色、ひび割れやかすれが生じ、愛着の湧く経年変化をする。

ペイント部分の経年変化は日常着用しているだけで出現する。手で皮を引っ張るとかすかにヒビ割れ、経年変化に拍車がかかる。ペイントは剥がれにくい特殊塗料。

フロントと袖の部分だけファスナーの色がゴールド。これも入手したヴィンテージのカスタムにわざわざ合わせたもの。当時の所有者が、ファスナーを付け替えたと思われるが、あえてそのリペアカスタムを踏襲した。

織りネームは1960年代後半から1970年代にSchottワンスターに使われていた物を用意していただいた。アメリカ製を記した星条旗タグも付く。

また、このワンスターの為に作ったLightningのロゴピンバッチが付属する。ピンバッチ単体の販売予定はなし。
