The first collection under the new rebrand of Setto x Indigo Label retains the companies unique ethos; combining traditional Japanese workwear and original fabrics with a personal handcrafted aesthetic and deep love for indigo. They strive to create pieces which can resonate with Japanese heritage and will be handed down across generations.
The definition of 'ranru' is a garment which had been repeatedly patched and repaired, this cardigan from Setto x Indigo Label captures the traditional technique of 'boro' mending to create something quite unique. Woven in Wakayama; Japan, an area knows for it's knitting quality and technology the cardigan knitted from indigo-dyed 100% cotton rope yarn and features a mixture of patchwork fabrics sewn by hand. The cardigan has an oversized fit with loose sleeves and features a buttons front and two patch pockets
