Stevenson Overall DC1 Deuce jacket Black
Clutch Cafe

Stevenson's 'Deuce jacket takes its inspiration from original examples of tour jackets ordered by U.S servicemen stationed in Germany post WWII. Unlike the lighter weight silk and satin souvenir jackets found in the warmer climates of the Pacific, these jackets use a dense but soft moleskin for the shell and quilted satin lining with a wool blend for insulation.
The motif of the Devil & Angel on the back are cut from felt and embroidery stitched to the jacket adding detail and creating a vintage feel with the iconic embroidered slogan taken from a US Marines song, "I'm bound for Heaven, because I've spent my time in hell".
The chest is embroidered with 'Seven Steps To Hell', the unofficial slogan of the 7th Army. The back features the Devil climbing 7 steps signifying the numerical designation of the 7th Army as used on their official 'A' shaped logo.
