Modelled after iconic Rolex bubble backs from the 1930's, Vague Watch Co. have playfully modelled their own version on these classic pieces. This model became the world's first self-winding watch with added waterproof performance. The model at the time was characterised by a form that made the back cover thick to achieve both perfect waterproofing and self-winding, and because its thickness swells like a bubble, they have become affectionately known called "bubble back".
The silver face has an antique finish akin to the California dial and is complete with domestic lizard strap similar to those made in the 60's & 70's.
