The Lot. 485 1/4 Zip Sweatshirt from Warehouse & Co is inspired by vintage style sweatshirts from famous American Sportswear Manufacturer Champion. Starting life out in Rochester in 1919, Champion began to manufacture sportswear items and soon became official partners with various colleges that helped promote the 'collegiate' style. In 1938 Champion created the 'Reverse Weave' that was cut on the gross-grain, in order to prevent shrinkage and was quickly picked up by numerous sports teams throughout the US, becoming an icon of American Sportswear.
The Lot. 485 comes in a heavyweight fabric woven on sinker knitting machines in Japan, allowing for production of heavier fabric. This 1/4 zip sweatshirt has a classic vintage fit and features a talon zip 1/4 front, 'reverse weave' ribbed stitch, woven Warehouse Sportswear label and ribbed cuffs & hem.
