Gold by Toyo Enterprise offer a collection of vintage inspired garments manufactured by decades of precision, technique and experience gained by Toyo Enterprise in Japan. Offering modern style with a vintage aesthetic and practicality is what Gold bring to the fold.
The WWII Denim Jean from Gold is inspired by the colours of vintage denim from the 40's & 50's, the Golden Era of denim manufacturing. This pair is made in Toyo's esteemed factory made to the same exacting standards as their production for Sugar Cane.
Cut in Japan from 100% cotton these WWII Denim Jeans utilise recycled suvin cotton yarn waste. Suvin is known as one of the most luxurious cottons in the world and certainly one of the softest. Developed in-house by Toyo, this recycled suvin 11.5 oz cotton has a slubby and unique texture, a distinctive feature of suvin.
With a relaxed fit and slight taper these offer a modern take on a vintage style jean. Reproduction aged Laurel Wreath buttons are used for the button fly while the vintage wash is one of the best we've seen. They feature hand splattered paint marks throughout as well as herringbone twill pocket bags and detailing found on WW2 era denim production.
