Full Count

An integral part of the Japanese denim boom of the late 1980's and early 90's, Full Count, hailing from Osaka, are a founding member of the legendary Osaka 5. This was the beginning of the resurgence of selvedge denim that has become so popular today. Mikiharu Tsujita, founder of Full Count, had been working closely with Hidehiko Yamane of Evisu, until their philosophies led them in slightly different directions. Mr Tsujita's aim with Full Count is to create a jean "that feels so good you don't want to take them off." They are renowned for pioneering the use of Zimbabwean cotton in denim production. This is due to it's soft yet sturdy hand, and as Mr Tsujita believes, it is as close to as American denim from the 1940's & 50's. Woven on original 1960's XX shuttle looms; one of the many ways in which they excel in the denim world. Full Count proudly produce some of the finest denim one can get their hands on.
