Yuketen Angler Boots w/Cortina Sole FO G Brown
YuketenThe Angler Boot from Yuketen is based on a style of footwear worn by Maine's freshwater Fisherman of the 1950's & 60's. These anglers sought a secure fit in the footwear they brought to their sport and the moccasins they wore were distinct for the placement of the eye-stay, which hugged the top of the foot. Yuketen's Angler Boot brings improved vamp construction and arch support, and genuine lug soles to this classic New England sporting shoe.
This pair of Angler Boots w/Cortina Sole is constructed from a flesh-out leather handmade in Yuketen's main factory in Maine and is one of many iconic and eye-catching silhouettes to come from the Yuketen collections, perfectly demonstrating Yuki Matsuda's expert eye for detail and passion for American heritage footwear.
This style features multiple layers of leather, hand-stitched together for a moulded fit, Rawhide leather laces and feature an Italian made Cortina lug sole. Interestingly, this lug sole was made to commemorate the winter Olympic Games of 1956 which were held in the Cortina district of Italy and was created to offer the best balance of grip and durability to maintain consistent performance, even in freezing environments.
