Founded in 2004, Tembea's aim is to make sustainable products, as a research tool for timeless design. Inspired by vintage style Tote Bags from USA makers like L.L. Bean, Tembea proudly make in Japan, using specially woven canvas for the majority of their styles.
The Market Tote is a two-way carry tote bag and is cut from Tembea's signature selvedge canvas. The canvas is treated with a paraffin coating to aid water repellency while being woven on 40-50 year old machines ensures a durable & high quality fabric.
