Arguably the finest Americana reproduction brand from Japan, the Real McCoy's painstakingly recreate and update original garments for the modern day offering the best from the past, replicated to perfection without compromise in Japan.

Well, this a Jacket we have been really looking forward to having in stock! The Photographer's Utility Jacket from McCoy's takes inspiration from a particular style of jacket that was worn by American Artist Andy Warhol on his first trip to China in 1982. After relations between the US & China were normalised in the late 70's, allowing Americans to freely visit China, Warhol was one of the first to visit in this first wave of tourism.

Relying heavily on his camera he wore a jacket with multi pockets, with pens stashed in one, notepads stashed in the other with pockets leading into pockets. This particular Jacket was made in the late 1960's by a Parisian designer named Maurice Renoma, who named it 'Multipoche', French for 'multiple pockets', and inspired by European Hunting Jackets.

McCoy's have faithfully enhanced this style using a military grade cotton/nylon blend for the shell, known for its resilience and lightweight properties. The jacket features a button latch band collar, three chest pockets, two zippered body pockets, four flap waist pockets, and two additional zippered waist pockets. It also comes equipped with a concealed drawcord hood, a snap-button storm flap, and a full zip-through front closure.
