James Grose

James Grose originally started out life in 1876 in London. They started as a manufacturer of motorcycles and famously produced the Grose-spur motorcycle in 1916. They continued on this for the most part of the twentieth century until the 70's where they turned their focus to apparel. Ironically, they opened a sports department store on Great Portland Street where Clutch Cafe is situated now. The James Grose name is now used by a Japanese company that produce leather and suede jackets, concentrating on motorcycle culture. All products are made in England in a small family run factory.
