Japanese brand Soundman have created a name for themselves creating unique clothing with a classical twist. Their latest collection for AW24 is no different as the Birmingham jacket demonstrates.
The Banger Coat from Soundman has seen numerous iterations or at least borrowings from brands such as Ralph Lauren & Abercrombie and Fitch throughout the years, but Soundman's version is a take on vintage Fireman Coats dating from the 1950's & 60's & made appropriate for modern wear and not fighting fires.
Cut from a blend of cotton & nylon in Japan, the Banger Fireman Coat features the distinctive aluminium clip front and has been paired with two large flap pockets with snap buttons and a small ticket pocket with zip closure. The collar features a corduroy trim and the coat has a light melton wool lining to keep the cold at bay.
