Coherence take their inspiration from well-known and legendary artists while their take on classic outerwear is elevated by their focus on in-house fabric design, carefully considered detailing and a central focus on fit.

We're pleased to offer the "Sarrau" capsule collection for this AW23 from Coherence. This relatively new "Sarrau" collection of utility wear sources inspiration from those legendary artists which Coherence has based their brand on.

The Kees Jacket is inspired by an early European workwear garment worn by Dutch-French Painter, Kees Van Dogen in a portrait taken of him in 1952. These workwear pieces were widely adopted in Europe and especially France by Engineers, Railway Workers and other manual labourers of the day.

Staying true to vintage European Workwear, the Kees is a double breasted work jacket and has been cut from the brand's exclusive linen/cotton chevron twill.

Cut from a mix of linen & cotton in Japan, other features of the Kees include two lower patch pockets (one with separate compartment), a single chest pocket and a small diagonal pocket complete with exposed selvedge trim. There are pockets a plenty with this utilitarian piece with one lower pocket and one toggle closure on the inside while the garment is complete with concealed waist ties.
