The US Navy Service shoes from Jelado are based on a vintage pair that Goto san has in his archive, perfectly executed by 'The Booted' in Japan. The Booted is Jelado's heritage footwear line, recreating classic American footwear with traditional methods.
These are Made in Japan and use the US Navy Officer's Dress Blucher as inspiration. Known for their indestructible qualities, these Officer's Bluchers are a simple, straight forward & handsome shoe built to last.
They use an original last from the vintage pair dating to 1941, and use a tea-core calfskin for the uppers, with a slightly pointier toe box than the original example. A leather sole with rubber half sole helps aid grip while walking, all the while maintaining the aesthetic of the original models.
