Since their inception in 1993 Post Overalls, or Post O'alls, have continued to deliver quality American vintage style designs, both superbly detailed and beautifully constructed.
The Navy Parka from Post Overalls was first introduced by the brand in the early 90's and became a staple in their collection. It varied each year and was available as a pullover style and open-front style with new fabrics and slightly different detailing each time.
Re-introduced this AW23, Post Overalls find inspiration for the Navy Parka from 1940's US Navy issued Gunners Smocks, issued to Servicemen positioned at gunner mounts on board ship. As always, the basis for inspiration is there but the design is tweaked in-keeping with Post.
Cut from 60/40 nylon/cotton in Japan, the Navy Parka comes in a pullover style and features a half button front with button hood. Two lower flap pockets have been paired with button cuff adjusters and a drawstring hood.
