Arguably the finest Americana reproduction brand from Japan, the Real McCoy's painstakingly recreate and update original garments for the modern day offering the best from the past, replicated to perfection without compromise in Japan.

Buco was a famous leather jacket manufacturer founded in 1933 as the 'Joseph Buegeleisen Co', and were one of the first producers specialising in motorcycle accessories and bags. A few years later they developed their full apparel line promising "Motorcycle jackets, gloves, caps, belts & bags all cut and sewn by lifelong craftsmen to the task at hand".

Manufacturing was maintained entirely at an in-house factory, allowing the brand to produce the highest quality leather jackets available on the market at the time. The horsehide rider’s jackets produced during 1940s-50s are considered their iconic pieces. The Real McCoy's have acquired the licence to produce the brand and do so with due diligence and expertise in Japan.

Expertly crafted in Japan, the Buco Engineer Boots are a true repro of an original 50's pair in McCoy's archive. Made from a custom shinki horsehide perfected by McCoy's from using their archive examples, this is a fully vegetable-tanned horse butt leather with a pigment dyeing finish. This allows for the natural tea-core effect to come through after wear. Finished with a repro cat's paw sole and heel for comfort and traction while he vamp front features a unique crease line through the centre, similar to vintage Buco Engineer boots. Complete with tonal stitching throughout, custom burnished silver buckle adjuster and finished with internal woven Buco label and stamped sizing.
