Arguably the finest Americana reproduction brand from Japan, the Real McCoy's painstakingly recreate and update original garments for the modern day offering the best from the past, replicated to perfection without compromise in Japan.
Developed during the Korean War, the reversible Mitchell pattern camouflage consisted of a green leaf 'summer' design with a brown cloud 'winter' pattern on the underside. It was first used in 1953 as the camouflage for the Marine Corps Shelter. The Mitchell pattern helmet cover was introduced in 1959 and was used by Marines and Army troops throughout the Vietnam War, while the pattern was sometimes used for other items.
McCoy's have faithfully replicated this fabric from a heavy duty printed sateen in Japan. The Civilian Trousers take the form of a classic Baker Pant or Fatigue Pant style, with a straight fit throughout. The trousers have been been paired with two front facing patch pockets and two rear pockets with button closure. A button fly using urea buttons and cinch waist adjuster buttons complete the look.
