Warehouse & Co Lot. S1000XX 'Deadstock Blue' JeanWarehouse & Co
Warehouse & Co have been producing authentic, high quality garments since 1995. This AW20 sees Warehouse continue with their standard aesthetic and development of iconic, classic pieces that have served them so well for 25 years.
The Lot. S1000XX WWII Denim Jean is a reproduction jean and a true homage to those rare and highly sought after historical jeans. This falls under Warehouse & Co's 'Deadstock Blue' category where they have painstakingly researched original denim from the period and they have pretty much reproduced the original fabric.
Styled after 1940's WWII 501, the Lot. S1000XX is a true homage to those jeans produced during the era. Production was limited and essential items like threads, buttons and cotton were rationed and more commonly used for the War effort, making garments from this period sought after. A true WWII 1940's style silhouette with a high rise and wide silhouette has been paired with a pink selvedge, iron tack buttons (copper plated back) and copper plated rivets. A pink rayon tab and deerskin leather patch have been paired with exposed copper crotch rivet, unfinished sewing on inside pockets and chain stitch run off on waist band. A lightly painted arcuate completes the look on this great reproduction jean.
