Allevol’s ‘Easy’ Sweatshirt is inspired by a particular 1950's sweatshirt issued by the U.S. Naval Academy. Made in Japan using a quality, mid-weight loopwheel fleece, featuring a bound crew neck collar with raglan sleeves for ease of movement. These have ribbed hems and cuffs, with that all important lack of side seams demonstrating their loopwheel construction. These are on the shorter side, with a boxy cut, wider neck and slightly tapered sleeve.
Cushman's 26901 Set in Sleeve Sweatshirt is a very fine example of an every day essential. Made in Japan to unwaveringly high standards, these sweatshirts are woven on a suspended-loom, weaving the fabric in a continuous, loop-wheeled, low tension construction which creates a very soft and plush fleece on the inside. The 26901 has a high, close fitting collar with 4-needle flat locked seems and long ribbed waist band and cuffs. Slightly longer than it’s freedom sleeve counterpart.
Cushman’s 26903 Freedom Sleeve Sweatshirt is quite possibly the ultimate vintage style sweatshirt. Made from the same fleecy fabric as their Set In version, with the same details aside from their very special S shaped ‘Freedom Sleeve’, originally designed for athletes to give them a full range of movement. Our shortest sweatshirt offering, staying true to 1930’s style, they’ve even replicated the cheese cloth size label found on originals (fear not, this is easily removable)!
The Real McCoy's Loopwheel Sweatshirt is one of the brand's signature items and an absolute go-to. Made in Japan from their exclusive loopwheel fleece, woven in Wakayama. Weighing in at a nice 10oz and featuring the classic double 'v' construction, bound crewneck collar and ribbed cuffs and hem. Our longest sweatshirt with a slightly wider neckline, for something of a more ‘modern’ fit, for those that want something a little less vintage looking but with all the same details and quality you’d get from vintage examples.
The model wears a Medium in all of the above sweatshirts and is 5'10"/ 177cm and weighs 65kg.
