Fountain Head Leathers started life out in Japan a couple of years ago. Using predominantly Horsehide, Fountain Head Leathers produce some simply stunning jackets. Largely inspired by American vintage jackets from the 1930's-1960's, Fountain Head use these original pieces as their source of inspiration and elevate them in design and production in the way only leather obsessives can.

The Beta is one of their signature styles and is based on a classic pre-war 1930's Riders Jacket, about as classic as it gets. The Alpha uses 1.5 mm thick brown horsehide, treated in a unique way that gives the leather an initial shine but with wear will change to a matte finish.

The construction and finishing really stands out with these jackets, the sewing tensions & threads used all contribute to a superior fitting jacket over time. Each jacket will pucker in different ways and crease to the wearer creating a unique, individual jacket.

The zip front uses a vintage style Waldes while the 'D' pocket' with zip closure harks back to the 30's style design. A small zip pocket with ball chain on the placket has been paired with handmade studs on the cuffs as well as zip closure to alter fit while the belted waist completes the look.
