The Lot. 1002 Cowboy Pants from Warehouse & Co is the brand at their very best. The Lot. 1002 is a true reproduction item and has been modelled on the iconic denim brand Lee and perfectly displays their history and cost saving approach applied by the company during WWII.
Warehouse & Co have produced an outstanding pair of denims here, replicating what were once made for Cowboys in the US with additional WWII production detailing throughout. A new fabric development for Warehouse sees the denim come in a right hand twill weave and weighing about 13.7 oz. A bight blue indigo is created with this weave as the weft yarn has been topped with grey.
Being based on a WWII manufactured model some of the specifications were changed to save on cost. Donut buttons with laurel wreath pattern throughout were used so Warehouse have recreated these as well as minimising thread count by adopting double stitch technique as opposed to triple. The rear patch is hair on hide and indicates that it is an early style war model.
Noticeably to save on extra cost the rear cinch back and decorative arcuate stitching have been removed whilst the pocket bags are cut from a fine herringbone twill.
The Lot. 1002 comes with a reproduction herringbone 'Victory' Bag. These were mass produced in the USA during WWII and were often given to Military Academy students and their families to increase moral for the war effort.
