John Gluckow is back creating high quality vintage inspired garments in collaboration with Japan's esteemed Warehouse & Co. A serious vintage collector and expert from America's East Coast, John's collections are inspired by his vintage archive and personal style with close attention to fabric & design.
The House Painter’s Jacket from John Gluckow, made in Japan by Warehouse & Co, takes inspiration from one of Gluckow’s favourite vintage finds - a well-worn chore jacket covered in paint splatters, full of character and stories. Too rare and fragile to wear, it became the blueprint for this everyday version.
This version from John Gluckow is crafted in Japan from an off-white selvedge twill, a sturdy & refined fabric that captures the brand’s commitment to authentic workwear construction. Designed with a number of details borrowed from the original example, the House Painter's Jacket features a change button, chin strap, cropped chest pocket, one single chest pocket with button closure & two larger pockets. Vertical button cuffs and contrasting pink bar tacks complete the look.
