Order Processing & Dispatch
For same-day dispatch, orders must be placed before 2 PM UK Time.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 2 PM on Friday or over the weekend (Friday 2 PM – Sunday) will be dispatched on the following Monday.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking information via email.

Courier Services
We ship using your selected courier: DPD, DHL, or a local courier, depending on availability and your location.

All prices at the checkout are inclusive of processing and delivery fees (excluding courier fees where applicable), meaning the price shown is the price you will pay delivered to you, with no hidden customs or clearance fees!

All orders placed from within the EU have your local rate of VAT added; so no excess VAT will be charged upon arrival and we do not collect UK VAT. This also means that you are able to pay in local currency (or the currency of your choice) to a local bank account.

Returns

All returned goods must be returned to us in a re-saleable condition, with no damage/ wear and with all labels still attached. If the return does not meet our satisfaction, we will deduct a restocking fee from your refund.

In-store Returns: Where the clothes have been tried on in person in store and with advice from our knowledgeable team, we reserve the right to operate a return for exchange or store credit only.

Proof of purchase will need to be provided and the item returned in unworn condition with all labels attached within 14 days of purchase. 
Please take reasonable care to ensure that goods are not damaged. Returns that are damaged, altered or without original labels will not be accepted except in the case of faulty goods, where your statutory rights apply.*

*If an item is returned to us with a need to prepare it for resale due to: odour, stray hairs or an excess of other lint, being poorly re-packaged or any other need for cleaning a restocking fee will be charged to cover the costs.

The purchase of "Sale" items are non-returnable. Either for exchange, credit note or refund, when the purchase has been made in-store. 

Online: 

Orders placed within the UK: Upon receipt of goods, you have a total of 28 days to return the goods to us. Please arrange shipping at your own cost, via a tracked and insured service. Please clearly mark the parcel for "Returns" and send items in their original condition. Returns that are damaged, altered or without original labels will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.

Orders Placed outside the UK: Upon receipt of goods, you have a total of 28 days to return the goods to us. We offer returns labels for orders placed outside the UK, please contact us at info@clutch-cafe.com to arrange a label for you.
The cost of this is deducted from your refund total and this method ensures that the package reaches us safely and without incurring import charges. 
Returns that are damaged, altered or without original labels will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.
If you return items without using our prepaid shipping labels, you are liable for all postage costs incurred including any import duties we are charged, these will be deducted from your refund total. 
We do not process exchanges for international orders. If you require an exchange, please return your goods to us for a refund and then place a new order for the desired size/item.


We reserve the right to charge a 10% re-stocking fee in the case of damaged goods in need of cleaning. 

Refunds will be made to the original purchaser's card and processed within 14 days on receipt of the returned item(s).

Arguably the finest Americana reproduction brand from Japan, the Real McCoy's painstakingly recreate and update original garments for the modern day offering the best from the past, replicated to perfection without compromise in Japan. 

The M-1943 Field Jacket is the successor of the M-1941 and was developed to integrate the various field uniforms the US Army had adopted until then. The silhouette was always a little loose fitting or over-sized as it was originally designed to cope with all possible situations and be worn on top of various uniform. 

After its introduction, the M-43 underwent several specification updates most notably the pocket shapes, which eventually influenced the M-65. Overall, six specification types were developed, ranging from 370 to 370E. However, the 370 and 370A were prototypes, with the 370B being the first version used in active service.

Early models, such as the 370B and 370C, are distinguished from later ones, including the 370D and 370E, which represented the final and definitive design. This reproduction faithfully replicates the 370E specification, widely regarded as the ultimate version of the M-43 Field Jacket.

The Real McCoy's have faithfully reproduced the M-1943 Field Jacket in Japan to their exacting standards. The McCoy's version has been cut from a heavy-duty cotton satin fabric, exclusive to McCoy's and modelled exactly on original examples. This is a durable and water-resistant fabric ideal for modern wear and layering while the lining uses a lightweight cotton broadcloth. As per original examples the M43 features a concealed button front (originally introduced to avoid any potential snagging), while the jacket features four large pockets with button closure. 

A large detachable hood has been paired with a drawstring waist and stand collar with chin strap that can be used to protect the wearer from the wind.
